About Dr. Katelyn Wray

Dr. Katelyn Wray is a compassionate and accomplished dentist with a diverse background that has shaped her into a well-rounded dental professional. Originally hailing from a quaint town in Maryland, Dr. Wray discovered her love for Lebanon County during her time as an undergraduate at Lebanon Valley College, laying the foundation for her journey in the field of dentistry.

Professional Experience

Dr. Wray’s academic journey began at Lebanon Valley College, where she pursued her love for the sciences. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, impressively complemented by double minors in Chemistry and Spanish. Her dedication to academic excellence was evident from the start.

During her time at Lebanon Valley College, Dr. Wray's academic achievements were celebrated with memberships in multiple honor societies. These include Sigma Alpha Pi (leadership honor society), Phi Alpha Epsilon (service honor society), and Tri Beta (Biology honor society). Her dedication to language proficiency was highlighted by her membership in Phi Sigma Iota, where she served as the President for two years. She was also an active member of the Pride of the Valley Marching Band and still enjoys playing the clarinet. Dr. Wray and her family still attend football games at LVC to cheer on the band!
Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Wray returned to her home state of Maryland to attend the first dental school in the country, The University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During her final year of dental school, she was selected for a unique and prestigious role as a radiology clerk. This invaluable opportunity allowed her to collaborate with leading Dental Radiologists and gain expertise in interpreting Cone Beam CT images. Dr. Wray's passion for dentistry extended to investigating endodontic lesions, dental implant placement, and an extensive study of normal and abnormal anatomy and pathology. Eventually, she assumed the role of a teaching assistant, helping fellow students accurately and effectively interpret radiographs.
Dr. Wray's commitment to excellence was evident throughout her dental education. She successfully completed the President's Student Leadership Institution, a testament to her dedication to personal and professional growth. Additionally, she actively served as a board member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and as a student liaison on the Admissions Board throughout her tenure at the University of Maryland, further underscoring her commitment to dental advocacy and education.
Dr. Wray's dedication to her profession extends to her active memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA) and Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), and Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry (PAGD). Through the PAGD, Dr. Wray attends a continuing education track, called PEAK, throughout the year to work toward her Fellowship. Locally, Dr. Wray has been past president of the Lebanon County Dental Society and Fourth District President of the PDA. She is currently the school dentist for the Annville-Cleona School District.

Dr. Katelyn Wray’s diverse academic accomplishments and unwavering commitment to the field of dentistry make her a trusted and respected member of the dental community.
