Dr. Jennifer Davis is a dedicated and highly accomplished dentist who has been committed to the field of dentistry since 1988. Her journey in oral healthcare began as a dental hygienist, where she gained invaluable experience and laid the foundation for her impressive career.

Work experience

As a dental hygienist, Dr. Davis honed her skills and passion for dentistry. She earned her dental hygiene certificate from the University of Pittsburgh and began her professional career, providing top-notch dental care to her patients.

  • While working as a dental hygienist, Dr. Davis pursued a bachelor's degree in chemistry at Lebanon Valley College. Her dedication to excellence was evident as she received numerous awards in organic chemistry and served as a research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Carl T. Wigal, PhD. Her contributions to research were notable, with publications in The Journal of Organic Chemistry, demonstrating her commitment to advancing dental science.
  • After a successful 10-year career as a dental hygienist, Dr. Davis embarked on a new chapter in her journey by enrolling in dental school at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. Throughout her dental education, research remained a significant part of her academic pursuits. Dr. Davis secured a grant from the National Institutes of Health for her work in the area of bone formation, highlighting her dedication to pushing the boundaries of dental knowledge.
  • Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Davis joined the esteemed practice of Dr. Frederick S. Johnson. Together, they shared a philosophy of providing comprehensive and esthetic dentistry to their patients. In 2007, Dr. Davis acquired the practice, and over time, it evolved into the reputable dental practice known as Cleona Dental, LLC.
  • Dr. Davis is not only a skilled practitioner but also an active member of various dental organizations. She holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). Her commitment to continued learning and growth is evident through her association as an Alumni and Visiting Faculty of The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
  • Dr. Davis's dedication to the dental profession extends beyond her practice. She has contributed her expertise to the ADA Committee of the New Dentist and the PDA New Dentist committee. Furthermore, she has served as the past president of the Fourth District Dental Society.
